USA: WYOMING (WY)

Capital: Cheyenne

Wyoming, also known as the Cowboy State, is one of the top agricultural states in the U.S. Maning and ranching have an important role in the state's economy. Although Wyoming has the lowest population of the 50 states, its cattle and sheep populations are huge.

Wyoming attracts millions of tourists each year. Many come to visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks.

Yellowstone National Park  is home to more geysers than any other place on Earth, including Old Faithful, which erupts on a predictable achedule.

Grand Teton National Park is named for Grand Teton (2,100 m), the tallest mountain in the Teton Range. The naming of the mountains is attributed to early 19th-century French-speaking trappers—les trois tétons (the three teats) was later anglicized and shortened to Tetons.
