The capital city, Nashville, is known as the home of country music. Many people visit rock star Elvis Presley's home in Graceland (Memphis).
The Great Smoky Mountains of eastern Tennessee get their name from thebluish haze that usually covers them. This "smoke" is actually a mixture of water vapor and evaorated plant oils.
